The Olympic Discovery Trail is an incredible trail that runs around 130 miles, from Port Townsend all the way to the Pacific coastline in La Push. This trail parallels the very scenic Highway 101 once it starts to curve out to the East in Northwest Washington. Much of the trail is paved, however there are some sections of dirt in more remote areas.
Hiking or Cycling the Olympic Discovery Trail yields countless rewards. The diversity of the trail shows off many of the characteristics that give the Pacific Northwest it's beauty, like vast ocean views, snow-capped mountains, rushing rivers, and more.
Sea Cliff Gardens is less than a mile away from the section of the trail named Wild Currant Wy to Sequim Avenue. Cycle 13 to 14 miles East from our Bed & Breakfast to experience the outstanding views at Sequim Bay. Head out West for about 15 miles for an amazing ride overlooking the Straits of Juan de Fuca on the way to Port Angeles.
